Wow. Staring here at the publishing interface, I have nothing to write about. It’s kinda ironic i guess. When I really want to post something, I can’t seem to formulate any sort of entertaining description to document my adventures. But when I’m out and about, having a good time, I’m simply enjoying myself too much to want to create a post.
And given that I have a terrible memory, and by grasp of english is even worse, I sit here, the owner of a personal website in desperate need of content.
So, I’ll create here the only content I can find the energy to make. Here’s what’s been going on in the past two weeks (the times i’ve left the house at least).
I had a pretty cool time at the dragon boat festival and at ontario place. I took charlotte for her birthday, and it was lots of fun. I really wished that we could have gone on the log ride, you know the one, but we weren’t allowed to get wet. That also nixes bumperboats, pedal boats, various other water-related activities. Ontario place has this pretty wild basketball place for kids. With all sorts of wierd shaped backboards, that requires riccochet shots and whatnot to get the ball in the hoop. It’s great fun, anyone who goes should try it. We also saw an imax film about great unexplored caves. We really wanted the narrator (liam neeson) to say “Spelunking”, the exploration of natural caves. We came out of the theatre, saddened by the obvious missed chance to say funny words. Damn you Liam Neeson!
The next weekend, we chillaxed in the ‘Loo. We have a lot of fun looking at animals. Our friends the squirrels and groundhogs all joined us at the Waterloo Park petting zoo. Damn cute animals. The farmers market is a good place to buy chipnuts, which hitoshi apparently consumes as if on some sort of chipnut addiction. Ever seen someone drink a bag of chipnuts?
Canada Day was another day at work for me. The people I know who work all got the day off. Even my parents who work every day! But it all turned out ok, because of Toronto Ribfest! There’s just something more satisfying about eating your ribs at a dedicated rib festival. At the end of the day, you never knew your fingers could be oh so very tasty.
That’s about it I guess. Any other adventures wouldn’t seem fun to anyone besides me. Videogames, shopping, eating, barbecuein’ and all that.
Ok, I’m off to play the cube.
