i’d better not touch anything else.

there was some considerable hiyo.org downtime. the forums are toast, and i’ll need to reinstall them or something, so all the posts will likely be gone.

i was playing with some scripts, and they must have had infinite loops or something, because the host told me they hogged all the system resources and all of hiyo.org had to be taken down.

i’m sorry for almost breaking everything.

in other purchases news, i am the very proud owner of a Jet Black Nintendo Gamecube. They had a wicky deal at EB that I just couldn’t pass up. I think it’s about time I got addicted to Animal Crossing. I’ve heard it’s like the Videogame version of crack. Only, it’s more addictive. Sounds good to me.

Other new games for me, to those who are interested: Zelda - The Wind Waker, Metroid Prime, Gran Turismo 3, Dark Cloud… Uh… I think i have too many videogames….

Can you beleive that I’m actually looking forward to the school term because I’ll have MORE time to play videogames? I was told to take the term off and play non-stop, but I think I can get just as much gaming, while furthering my career as a mechanical engineer.

It’s going to be a busy weekend… go to see the Jays play on Saturday, get a Carlos Delgado Celebriduck (A duck that looks like Carlos Delgado. go to bridlewood mall (the hippest mall in agincourt) to get an autograph and to meet the great Wendel Clark.

And then there are some dinners, birthdays, poker tourneys and of course, the Magic game of the century. I’ll see you when I wake up on Wednesday.

cardboard!

a true bennybox layout. made from 100% bennyboxes. plus a guest appearance by my lego bballer who i think looks like yao.

i definately see the whole double scroll thing as an annoyance, but i hope people can live with it. i’ll get rid of that for sure with the next layout, whenever that may be.

i was supposed to finish this at 10 and then rest. instead, i was stressed out until now, and i’m going to be toast tomorrow. i’d better bring some extra caffeine. and a couple big macs.

oh, it’s already been broughtn’

The Challenge.

Woburn Gifteds have been challenged. By no less than those lesser of the Ontario intellectualists (loser-ass geek faces), the gifteds of Richmond Hill.

Apparently, these kids think they can out match Woburn at a game of Magic: The Gathering (The woman repelling collectable card game). Word quickly spread. With Mu acting as the representative of Woburn, he quickly began talking smack. All of a sudden, a large five-on-five group deathmatch was tentatively organized, the winner claiming ultimate geekdom supremacy.

So this is a call-out to everyone who believes that Woburn simply can’t be out-nerded. We’ll likely host an audience who will be able to witness the event, and history in the making. You can expect to hear more of the tourney in the coming weeks.

Already, several Woburn Alums have expressed interest in the tourney. A group of us, including myself, toe, eugene, derek and mu started our “spring training”. charlotte and cj have also shown their interest in representing Woburn CI!

This could potentially turn into one of the greatest giftee clashes in the history of the GTA. This has got nothing on Reach for the Top. Math and physics contests don’t mean anything now. Our school will not go down as being second to a bunch of rich snobby markham kids. We will come through victorious!
