shit… good memories

i feel great. i’ve spent the last little bit going though the OAC yearbook. it’s pretty much been two years since i’ve really read it last, and it’s chocked full of memories otherwise long forgotten.

i had a great time at high school. the woburn crew is a group that will never leave my life… no matter how hard i try to rid myself of your stench.

i have some great comments, from some people whom i have incredible respect for. what else can i say? i wish we could all go back to high school right now and relive the good times. i won’t have many new friends that will share such wild and undoubtedly gifted antics ever. go open it’s up. it’s the red one that didn’t really turn out red enough.

speaking of which, who’s up for a fiesta?

what got me to open up my cherished yb? i found the journal of a odd fellow that the boys used to make fun of during those lunch periods in oac. and reading the posts, i discovered a deeply philisophical kid, whose over analytical mind overblew everything in world to the point where his thoughts were consumed by nothing but an obsession to a girl he could never have. it kinda makes me wish i had known him better in hs. this kid seems out of control, and i don’t think anyone can predict what he’s capable of. it’s this kind of thing that opens my eyes to the world of lives of people i will never know, and how years of societal conditioning really affects the three minutes of my life that they co-exist in my world. that makes me wish i was just a tad more outgoing at school.

i just can’t seem to get enough of that human drama. what can i say? it’s better than tv!

gaming goodness.

you know how much i like talking about video games here. it’s not a tradition i’m ending today.

i got a couple new games.
NBA Street Vol. 2. Easily the most enjoyable arcade style basketball game ever made. Anyone who likes bball should pick this game up.
Enter the Matrix. The over-hyped game of the over-hyped movie of the year. I had to get it, the matrix-head i am, but was disappointed with the gameplay. It would have been somewhat respectable given more development time, but it’s still an above average action title. It looks nice at least.

i got a link cable for the gameboy. anyone want to take me on in some tetris or mario kart, give me a hollah. i’ll be there. and square. no, wait…

simo gave me back the ps1 games he was keeping. he gave me back even the games that were his, so i gotta give those back when he comes back to town next year. but i’m all rpg’ed up. i have the perfect geeky loner gamer’s collection. the most enjoyable rpgs on the system, combining for at least 400 hours of gameplay. i’m saving them for the next school term.

the electronic gaming expo ended last week or something. big news to gamers. it gets me excited about upcoming releases and games in development. a lot of games to look forward to in the near future. i’m incredibly tempted to buy a gamecube for one final fantasy game.

brushed the dust off the good ol’ dreamcast yesterday. the best system ever made. had some fun playing a plane-shooter with toe. if we weren’t so tired, we could have gotten some incredible 4-player tennis action on. maybe next week. anyone up for a fiesta?

i’m also very, very bitter.

it was supposed to be such a happy day. i could finally bathe in the endless media the internet is capable of providing, yet again. but instead, i was left bitter, annoyed, and screaming to the Greater Being, “WHY?”

i tried to install a new hard drive, and in the process i lost everything else i had been saving up on my little 40 gigger since i started university. all my assignments, digital photos, mp3s… all now lost to the ages.

i had a lot of ish on there too. a couple hundred photos is what i’ll probably miss the most. i hope someone can learn from my experience and back up their hard drives right now. so you won’t have to cry yourself to sleep like me.

so now i have a basically 160 gigs free, and no real plan on how to fill them up. i gotta take more pictures this summer i guess. anyone up for a fiesta?

I’m a cell phone man.

It took a few years to get on the bandwagon, but I officially have a cell phone for the summer 2003. Give me a ring: 416-716-HIYO. I’m not even kidding.

Q you bastard!

Why’d you go and send Picard through time like that? Why you been trippin’? Yous is knows that dumb Jean would just go and funk up all of humanity! And what was the deal with you hitting on men? I mean, did you really take it from Riker? Why’d you have to kiss Geordi on the lips? You’re ruining everything! Worf doesn’t like you that way! And what’s up with the lipstick and the stupid costumes? I thought you were omipotent! Use some of that power and create a fashion sense!

Oh wait, you’re not talking about that Q. I dream of Montreal Steak and the Bar-B-Cue. BBQs R Us

P.s., Good job with that Amanda Rogers chick Q. She was one hot piece of immortal intergalactic ass.
